Direct Debit
Direct Debit is the most convenient way to pay and you will also receive a £3 reduction on UK Standard fees. To pay by Direct Debit, you must print and sign the separate Direct Debit mandate and then return it to the address above. We must have your original signature on the Direct Debit mandate.

Joint Memberships
In order to comply with HMRC Gift Aid rules and to allow us to claim Gift Aid on Joint membership subscriptions where we hold a valid mandate, Joint Memberships are now held in the name of the first person on the application form with a second person added as their nominated guest (if applicable). In order to claim Gift Aid the first person named on the application form must sign a Gift Aid mandate and pay for the subscription. Please note that Joint memberships include Joint, Joint Concessions, Courtiers, Nobles and Directors Circle where more than one person appears on the application.


Gift Membership

Membership to the Friends of Shakespeare's Globe makes a great gift and is simple to arrange using the steps below

  • First enter the details of the person you would like to buy the membership for in the Member Contact Details area.
  • Next, enter your details in the Card Billing information section- including your address, and phone number /email as we may need to contact you regarding the gift.
  • The final section allows you to indicate whose address you would like the new membership pack to be sent to.
  • Please allow at least five working days from submitting the details for the pack to arrive. However, you should allow extra time in the run up to Christmas.

Gift Aid
In April 2000, the Government introduced measures to help charities reclaim the tax supporters have already paid on their contributions. If you agree to allow The Shakespeare Globe Trust to claim Gift Aid on your subscription, the Globe will benefit more from your contribution at no additional cost to yourself.

Membership fee and any additional donation will qualify for Gift Aid if the membership is purchased by named member (or the first named member in the case of Joint memberships), that person completes and dates a Gift Aid mandate and if the amount that is paid in UK income tax or capital gains tax is at least equal to the amount we will claim in Gift Aid on your contributions in the tax year.
